We are continuing on our journey to do something fun, special, and (of course) Christmasy every day until Christmas. Here's what we've been up to.....
Day 6-We made some homemade Christmas decorations. Links to hang above the window.

Landen colored the links.

Darren put the glue on the links.

Jonathan supervised all of us :-)

Day 7-We went to a Christmas Party (no pictures).
Day 8-During this time of year, I especially want the boys to realize that Christmas is not about THEM receiving lots of presents. It is about God sending his only son, Jesus Christ, to this world to later die for our sins. We can also give to others, as Christ gave to us. Therefore, we took an opportunity to let them give presents to other kids that they don't even know. Our church participated in the Angel Tree Ministry. This past Saturday, church members gathered to take these presents to the families. We took the boys along with us. They got to carry the presents and hand them to the children's parents.
Day 9-We made footprint reindeer. These were lots of fun to make and really easy.
Day 10-We made homemade playdoh. I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out. I had never made it before, but it was easy and the kids are enjoying playing with it.

We used KoolAid packets to dye the playdoh. Here's Darren kneading the color into the playdoh.
Merry Christmas!
