Easter weekend was full of blessings for us! On Good Friday we spent time remembering what Christ did for us on the cross, and we also celebrated Tony's birthday. The boys & I got a yummy ice cream cake, from Dairy Queen, for him. For the first year, Darren & Landen decided, by themselves, what they wanted to get Daddy for his birthday. They wanted to get him sunglasses. Darren said "I want to get Daddy sunglasses. He doesn't have any sunglasses, and he needs some." So sweet! Jonathan, with a little help from Mommy, got Daddy a wallet.
Easter Sunday was also a day of double blessings! We celebrated Christ rising from the grave, and Jonathan's 1st birthday. It was a wonderful day! Here's a picture of us on Sunday morning. After church, we came home, had lunch, then gave Jonathan his first cupcake. He loved it! I can't believe my little guy is already a year old. I love him so much!

Yum! It sure taste good! I added avocado to the cupcakes, so they had a little something healthy in them! I got the recipe from a fun cookbook called Deceptively Delicious.

We truly had an awesome Easter weekend! Double Celebrations Twice!
